Dear Birthmother,
I have so many things I’d like to say to you regarding our reasons for choosing adoption. I think it would be most important to ensure you that we have so much love to give another child, and they will have a future filled with happiness and support always. We have been led down this path for a reason, and I know that my family is a perfect match for any child.
My wife, Kimberlee, and I have always wanted to have a sibling for our son, Garrett. We were very discouraged to find that this might not be possible, until we looked into adoption. The decision to adopt was one of the most important decisions we’ve ever made, and the easiest. We are so thankful to you for finding the strength and selflessness it takes to make the decision to make an adoption plan for your baby. Without you, our dream to have another child would not be possible.
I met my wife in High School, and I knew that we had a connection that was very special. My wife is my soul mate, and in so many ways, we complete each other. I’ve been very blessed to have the opportunity to live my life with my best friend.
We have a beautiful 7 year old son, Garrett, and he is my right hand man. We do everything together, and many times the same. I cannot wait to have another child to share everything with, and show them a life of happiness like I had, and still have.
Family is and has always been my first concern. I strive to give my family the very best life possible, and never take anything for granted. I work as a Firefighter, and that has supported my family and provided the stability we need. My wife stays home, and she is the backbone of our family. She has always provided such a loving and warm home for our family. She would do absolutely anything for her family, and always knows how to make everything special.
I am very close to my parents, and my sister. My Mother and Father are both retired, and have a lot of extra time to travel, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy being home. They’ve always been very supportive, and are extremely excited about welcoming another Grandchild to our family. We see my parents on a very regular basis, and speak to them almost daily. My sister lives out of state, so we do not get to see her on a regular basis, but we do keep in touch by phone quite regularly. I have always been raised to be the best person I can be, and my parents have always supported me in the many paths I’ve chosen in life.
As a family we enjoy many different activities. We can enjoy almost anything as long as we’re together. We take vacations regularly, holidays are extremely important to us and are always special,
and we celebrate anything that is important to each of us. We like riding
bikes, movies of all kinds, music, camping, road trips, and we love being in
our back yard. It seems like we’re always finding something to do together,
and when we do it always creates a lasting memory.
We have many friends, and we like being with them and their children. Many of them are like our extended family. Garrett has been raised around many other children, and we have friends and family that we like to see as often as possible. We have always enjoyed spending time with others.
I wish I could put into words
how much another child would be appreciated and loved in our home. The
love, support and guidance that we will provide will be never ending. We
can and will give this child the home that she will need to live a very
happy and fulfilled life. We will always carry you in our hearts, and bless
you for this very special gift.
